All classes are offered in groups of 6 or less puppies/dogs, or they can be scheduled with one-on-one instruction. Class participants are required to pay in full at the start of each 8-week session for both group and individual lessons. Pre-registration is required for all classes, and new classes are constantly filling up, so contact us to reserve your place in a class.
| PUPPY KINDERGARTEN For puppies ages 10 weeks to 4 months 8 one hour classes to learn sit, down, stay, come, walking on leash and more. BASIC OBEDIENCE For dogs ages 5 months and over 8 one hour classes to learn sit, down, stay, come, heel, and more. ADVANCED OBEDIENCE For dogs at least 6 months old 6 one hour classes to further refine the basics and heel, and to learn off-leash control under distraction. COMPETITIVE OBEDIENCE 8 one hour individual sessions to learn AKC obedience, or Schutzhund obedience for competition. COMPANION DOG/OPEN DROP IN CLASSES On going drop in classes for dogs getting ready to compete in AKC obedience CD and CDX levels. RALLY OBEDIENCE Rally style obedience and prepare your dog to compete in Rally trials. NEW! ADVENTURE DOGS Learn how to work with your dog off leash in distracting environments. Topics covered include down from a distance, recalling your dog from a distance, heeling by distractions, trail manners, and managing difficult situations with other dogs, animals, and people. Dogs must be at least 6 months old, current on all shots and have passed a Basic obedience class. The first class takes place at CCA. All other classes are held at Chatfield State Park. This a 6 week class. |
